W3B specialise in integrating original design with existing and planned backend projects. We can deal with many, many programming environments and are always keen to take on a challenge.

Of the many programmers we have met in our years building websites, regardless of their fabulous ability to conceive, plan and execute large projects, very few seem to have either the patience necessary for the actual interface design. Further to this they are often the first to admit their shortcomings in relation to actual graphic design, and sadly many interpret this as adding unnecessary complication and expense.

But of course the user should as come first, and an appealing and considered interface is the first step in achieving a usable product. We actually do believe presentation is everything ( when it is bound to function and content ).

When it comes to web design, W3B are committed to web standards. Our next generation XHTML and CSS skills not only provide a highly extensible framework where content and design are separated, but deployment of content across multiple media types is also achieved. eg; cell phone browsers.

For website design, we are great fans of Jakob Neilsen and his Usability research and  subsequent guidelines. His site makes for great reading and some very surprising rersults can be found within his user-behaviour study results.

Further to this W3B can arrange for specialists in the field of Semiotics and User Behaviour to define and refine your target markets, study user behaviour to organise focus groups to invstigate interface design and program usability.
